DON'T DO IT!!!
i tried that and...the red heads and splotches are STILL gross and dark and junk...i think i even BROKE OUT MORE because o that!!! it makes you orange in many cases AND stains your clothing...i also tried mixing it with my Nivea lotions and St. Ives lotions and it sucked:'(...it wears off with time and soon you have random orange spots all over and then when you reapply you still have spots and dark light weird spots...
basically...
i don't suggest it...AT ALL
i tried it...
i LOVE having pale skin now:DxD
...and my acne has been getting better:DDo tanning products cover spots and blemishes, and how long does the tan last.?
Depending on how your skin reacts to self tanners, it can cause spots and blemishes to become darker.
Use caution and test to make certain this doesn't happen.
The tan usually lasts for a couple weeks. It really depends on how quickly your skin sloughs off and how hard you scrub.Do tanning products cover spots and blemishes, and how long does the tan last.?
Be careful with self tanners- they can cause further breakouts. Tan usually lasts 1-2 days.
We carry a face and body bronzer- it is great for all skin types- you put on as needed for a healthy glow.
Good Luck
I have found self tanners used on my face only highlight any blackheads i have :(
Exfoliate your face well first!

Try pro-Active that seems to work the best.

What are these spots?
I have these spots between my breasts and there really noticeable!
I'm 15 years old and suffer from acne!!
Im on pills and they are disapearing from my face but my back and chest are still spotty.
I dont have that much money for treatments and stuff!!!
But they wont go away!!
HELP!!What are these spots?
is it post acne marks?
if so, try neutragena fading peel [about $11]
and perfer on [about $4]
together they made my acne scars totally disapear!
hope this helps. What are these spots?
My daughter gets dermatitis if she eats acidic things like tomatos or oranges and gets it on her face (which she always does) maybe that's what it is... Sometimes washing her whole face immediately after she eats helps, sometimes she still gets it.

Which spot do you think is the best placement for tattoo?
The side (like near or on the ribs)
Wrist
Or back of the shoulder
I like how tattoos look on the back of the shoulder, my only problem with that is I would want to be able to see it without have to use a mirror.Which spot do you think is the best placement for tattoo?
Hmm well I want my first one (soon!) to be either on my wrist, or on the back of my shoulder and I'm thinking the same thing, about not being able to see it without a mirror. It depends though, because there's your shoulder blade, %26amp; there's more the actual shoulder, if you know what I mean? If you turn around you can see the part where your arm and back come together, but it kinda hurts your neck... so I'm thinking wrist at first, because it can be really close to you, %26amp; especially if it's your first tattoo you'll probably want to look at it all the time! You can get the other places later on when you are less in awe of it being a new thing I guess! Weeooo I can't wait to get mine!!! :DWhich spot do you think is the best placement for tattoo?
You need to ask yourself if you want it to be visible all of the time or just when you want it to be. Go for the wrist if you want it to be seen, or the back or side if you want to be able to cover it up.
it depends on the size and what it is and if you'd want to be able to hide it or not.
Tattoos look good everywhere, it's down to personal choice.
i personally think tht behind the ear isss definitelyy hott..
but for your choices...i would say the wrist....
tht is kinda hard to hind for work and stuff tho...
=]
it really depends on what your getting and the size personally want on on my left ankle

Good spot for a girl to get a tattoo about 4 inches big?
It's just a heart with words around it, I want it to be in a visible spot but not tacky. Ideas?Good spot for a girl to get a tattoo about 4 inches big?
I guess it depends on how the tattoo looks, some look good in some places and some don't. You could get it on your arm like a sleeve or on your back or stomach.Good spot for a girl to get a tattoo about 4 inches big?
just above your ankle?
i have one there
its a good spot...im in canada so its hidden a lot from winter wearing pants all the time..its easy to hide at work cause any job u get with a uniform your going to have to wear pants... even if u want to wear a dress u can still wear tights to cover it if u had to cover it...and it looks good on girls there
Avoid the lower back if you dont want to look tacky. tramp stamps are awful.
how about the chest? around the collarbone. i love that.
if thats too extreme for you, the upper back is awesome for tats. easily concealed but look great with halter neck tops
Depends on your definition of ';tacky'; but hopefully it's not too far off....
-Shoulder Blade
-Top of Foot
-Hip
-Back of Neck (so hot!)
-Just below the elbow on the inside of the arm
WRIST looks SO good.
on the neck (any where of the neck looks great)
on a shoulder blade area
ankle.
or hip...
good look hopefully it will look great.
The back of the shoulder.
neck or wrist.

i think that those spots are blackeads you might want to get a facial... another good thing to try are the BIORE strips. Very inexpensive and very effective.I have weird spots on my nose i dont know if they r black heads.what should i do?
look closely in the mirror. do they look like hair(i got teenytiny ones on my nose)? if not, use as much facial masks as possible. if it's still not gone, then get to a beuty parlor to ask for advise.I have weird spots on my nose i dont know if they r black heads.what should i do?
use a face scrub and see if that helps you to get rid of the mrks on your nose.
Are you a heavy drinker? Extensive alcohol use can lead to blood vessels rupturing on the bridge of the nose causing purple looking dots to form...if not then I'm sorry I couldn't help further!
i have them on my nose to, they are like little black pin pricks all over my nose. the doc said its perfecly normal and nothin to worry about.
SOUNDS LIKE BLACK-heads. i read NOT to mash them because it can leave scars LATER in life. I don't know what to do; hope u get some good answers HERE. best wishes!

I have dark spots on my legs cause by insect bite... can some help me .im a dark lady that need a solution?
You can use a combination of raw cocoa butter and Nadinola cream (a skin bleach) and it best not to expose them to the sun which will make them even darker than you natural skin color.
Good Luck!!I have dark spots on my legs cause by insect bite... can some help me .im a dark lady that need a solution?
Most importantly, if the spots turn into pustules or become painful, see a doctor immediately. This could be a sign of an allergic reaction or the insect may have injected a toxin into your skin (saliva or other, more potent, anticoagulant).
If the spots are simply a visual annoyance or have a minor itch, you can try two things to help relieve this and to make the spots go away faster. Try taking a dose of Benedryl once per day for two or three days. This over-the-counter antihistamine will help your immune system neutralize the infection and repair the damaged skin cells. A second way to help is to use a 1% hydrocotrizone cream on the spots. Rub a small amount over each spot. This will basically do the same thing as the antihistamine, but it is topical, so it doesn't have to go through your entire bloodstream to take effect.
Of course, if you're on any medications already, or you have a history of allergic reactions to medications or skin products, always ask your doctor before beginning a regimen of these products.I have dark spots on my legs cause by insect bite... can some help me .im a dark lady that need a solution?
Onion extract has anti-inflammatory properties that seem to lower the over production of collagen in the scar, thus reducing the chances of the scar becoming too deformed. The extract is available in a gel form and can be purchased from an herbal or drug store. Whether used in tandem with another treatment option or just by itself- the treatment takes a period of several months in order to produce noticeable effects in getting rid of insect bite mark.
An alternative to the onion extract is the use of silicone. Available in a gel form or rubber like sheets; silicone has the ability to lighten and flatten scars. You can apply the gel topically or otherwise use medical grade tape to keep the silicone sheets in place. Silicon is used because, the static electricity generated by the silicone helps align the collagen fibres in the scar in a proper manner. This helps make the scar less noticeable.
The third type of treatment that you can use is a slightly more popular method of scar treatment and is primarily available in the form of an over the counter or prescription cream. Alpha Hydroxy Acids are derivatives of natural fruit acids that are very useful in the speeding up the exfoliating process of the skin. This in turns aids the development of new skin cells and hence helps get rid of the scar faster. If you are going to use this form of treatment it is advisable to consult a dermatologist regarding what strength of alpha hydroxy acid you are going use as it can cause mild skin irritation and other problems in people who have sensitive skin. If you aren鈥檛 considering using any of the above treatment solutions you can also try surgical treatments. There are a number of treatment options that include collagen and steroid injections and even laser treatments. Though these treatments are relatively costlier and require a number of sessions they are sometimes far more effective and will be needed if you're scarring is severe. Consult your doctor or dermatologist in order to understand which the best treatment option.
I was in the same situation except in as pale as pale can get and it was so so noticeable.

Freckles and brown spots, what kind of olay product use.?
i already try the VICHY Bi-white advanced intensive whitening product but still not effectiveFreckles and brown spots, what kind of olay product use.?
Freckles are small benign tumors that are harmless. there's no need to remove them from sight. If you have them naturally, then that's a unique thing about you.Freckles and brown spots, what kind of olay product use.?
Dear Jane! I'm a guy..I have to tell you that I think freckles are adorable. They show your youth, and when youre older you will kick yourself for having lost them. I bet you still blush too?
the kind they wave at the bull in the fighting ring and yell OLAY! they don't have any brown spots either...they're brown all over.
The only way Oil of Olay will help you out with your situation is by preventing more freckles/brown spots from its SPF.
If the bleaching cream isnt working, either you're using it wrong or the product simply isnt effective and you should try another.
Finally, had to put my two cents in and say that freckles are cute, wholesome and youthful-looking. Before attempting to get rid of them, try to work WITH them and appreciate them.
I don't know about Olay, but have had amazing results with mary Kay's Even Complexion Essence. It is clinically shown to restore skin's natural, even tone by helping reduce visible dark spots and reverse skin discoloration. You can see results as quickly as two weeks. It is 100% guaranteed. I have used it on people with dark spots as well as those with rosacea and it lessened their discoloration by leaps and bounds.

How do u get rid of a bald spot?
I just got a bald spot and i don't know wat to do, my hair is very short so i can't cover it...How do u get rid of a bald spot?
Abena, What you have is a condition known as Alopecia Areata and it can have many causes. See your doctor and he can tell you if it can be corrected by diet. If it cannot, there are some over the counter medications that stimulate the scalp and clear out the hair follicles of sebaceous debris. Nioxin is probably the most affordable and it is all natural, although you can't use it if you have certain allergies like grasses. You can find Nioxin at most salons. How do u get rid of a bald spot?

There are a few things you can do to remove them temporarily and to help prevent them from coming back as much.
1. Go to a dermatologist. They can really help. They can give you medications or perform extractions, which is basically squeezing your blackheads in a way that wont damage your skin.
2. Use Biore Pore strips. They work great on your nose. They also havethem for your forehead and chin.
3. Wash your face often and dont touch your face with your hands.
4. Use oil-free products.
Hope this helps!
Go to the dermatologist.
Put your face over some hot steam and then squeese your blackheads, always keep your face clean use facial wipes that shoul help you

deep cleanse...use a mask.... all kinds of scrub and pore cleansers for that...go to dillards or a good drug store or search the net for products that provide these results. My sister got rid of hers she has used biore stickers however it was the contiued use of the nicer products that got rid of them. exfoliate with those new heat fourmulas too. This condition comes from having too much oil in that area so watch the oil
hi i'm a beauty and holistic therapist. you can get rid of them.
the black colouring is simply where the sebum has oxodised - its not dirt - i'm sure you are a clean lad ;-)
get down to boots and get some sandalwood essential oil - you will only need 5 ml. also, while you are there, buy a boots own facial scrub - make sure its one with man made plastic spheres to slough off dead skin (the natural ones - with bits of shell etc. can be too rough) and no need to spend a fortune. and get a small bottle of grapeseed oil.
at home. have a towel, flannel, mirror and plenty of hot water. first, wet your skin and using a small amount of scrub using circular motions with your finger tips - from your neck upwards %26amp; including your nose and forhead scrub all over (do nto rub hard - you should not be dragging the skin) - this will remove dead skin any dirt and the surface layer of oil ... wash off with a warm flannel - pat dry. now fill the basin with hot water and with a towel over your head ';steam'; your face - the hotter the better, but do nto burn yourself! ... for a few moments and when you are ready (making sure you have clean hands) squeeze/push the sebum out of the opened pores with your thumbs imagine you are squeezing under and then pushing up.. not just squeezing together. do not over do it - it may take a while, (a few weeks), to rid your nose of all of them and also you need to balance the sebum production - as you have now striped your skin of sebum it will make more!! - so to help with this - after you have scrubbed, steamed and then removed blackheads, pat your face dry and with pre mixed 5ml grapeseed oil and 2 drops of sandal wood (it takes ages to drop out of the bottle, be patient! and never ever put the sandalwood onto your skin without mixing into the grapeseed first) rub the oil, you may not need to full 5 ml, between the palms of your hands and then massage into your face with fingertips - be ware not to get any in your eyes. this oil is highly nutricious to your skin and will not give you spots! if you do all of this in the evening, leave the oil on overnight - the sandalwood will help to ensure a balance is brought about with the sebum production and its an aphrodisaic to boot.. added bonus eh? ;-)
do this once per week for about a month.
if you can't be arsed with all the fiddling about - go to a beauty salon - they won't take the P1ss i promise, they will think its gr8 that a bloke is looking after himself!
good luck
permanently? idk..b/c they always return...but if i use proactive ..like..twice a week, my skin clears amazingly.
Beta Hydroxy Acid BHA sometimes known as silica acid is suppose to be the best thing for blackheads. Clearsil has a new product out that Rapid clear it comes in a cleanser and some astrigent pads 12% BHA. after a couple of weeks use your skin will let go of the BH easily then
Go to a Sally or any Beauty Supply and get whats called a
MR TWEEZER MAN ';extractor'; its a metal devise with loops on both ends you just gently push down and out they pop..
You can buy blackhead removers that work. The only way to stop them coming back would to be to burn your nose badly enough to destroy all the pores on it (spots are caused by blocked pores).
Well, I don't know how to get rid of them permenantly but what I do is I don't use anything except for a wash rag and water NO SOAP, and then I'd keep your face clean and wash it once or twice a day, depending on how oily your skin is, and try not eating as many greasy or fried foods. That's what worked for me I don't have nearly as many pimples/blackheads as I used to. :)
Turning 50 this year, and yes...it is sometimes STILL a problem. I have found that Clearasil Daily Face Wash works well for me.
Use nose strips for getting rid of blackheads, then cleanse everyday with an astringent to close your pores.
Use Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating Exfoliant and Scrub, really works.
Steam your face over some hot water with a towel over your head and then use a blackhead remover to press out all the blackheads.
get a saucepan of hot water put your head over the saucepan
with a towel over your head , when the sweat is pouring out of
you sqeeze out the blackheads using your two index fingers.
i don't think you can remove them permanently unless you're willing to spend on this. best and most easiest (but not so fast... takes time) is to wash your face everyday. doesn't have to be twice a day depending on what kind of facial wash you use coz it might be too harsh on your skin (read the instructions and ingredients). and DON'T touch your skin. your fingers carry LOTS of germs from hell know where. good luck!

How to make my face flawless?? i have some dark spots & pimple marks!!?
i am 21 male..........if it matters!!
thank you a lot!!How to make my face flawless?? i have some dark spots %26amp; pimple marks!!?
1.Baking soda can be used as a great scrub. To start off, you'll want to mix a small amount of baking soda with some water for form a paste. Gently massage the paste into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds. Then rinse the baking soda off, and pat your face dry with a clean towel.
2.Lemon or lime juice can also be substituted for vinegar. Both of these juices are rich in citric acid, and can exfoliate your skin very well, halting the growth of acne spots, as well as fading previous, non-active acne quicker.
3.Crack an egg, removing the yolk so that just the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.
4.Aloe Vera has been used for many years in kitchens for topical application to burns. Another benefit of aloe is that it can prevent scaring, fade marks and help heal acne spots.
5.Each time you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks, to rid yourself of acne.
6.Soak cotton wool in mint juice, and apply every day.
7.Apply crushed marigold leaves on acne.
8.Boil and mash plums to get 8 teaspoons of pulp. Add a teaspoon of almond oil, and apply on the face.
9.Make a paste of turmeric powder, and apply evenly on the acne.
10.Mix together neem leaves paste, a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder, sandalwood paste and gram flour. Apply on the acne and let it dry well before rinsing.
11.Powder half a cup a whole green gram. Mix it with two tablespoons wheat bran. Regular application of this will clear skin of acne. How to make my face flawless?? i have some dark spots %26amp; pimple marks!!?
maybe you can get a facial if you have time or money because those work really well to open your pores and remove all the gunk in your skin also you can try an at home micro dermabrasion kit for your face they remve the top layer of skin so your face would be flawless or you can try concealer which is the cheapest and fastest way!
try a mild skin lightening soap (black licorice soap) and a high spf sunscreen.. the soap will lighten the dark skin spots, and sunscreen will prevent further pigmentation and keep it that way.
drink lots of water and eat lots of fruits and veggies =)
try to stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen/hat/sunglasses if you do go outside.
good luck!
Everyone dreams of flawless skin, but nobody has it, even celebrities. Just try Proactive or Clean and Clear if you want to see results. Good luck!
Are you trying to be like a girl? Just wash your face once in awhile!

How to clear spots of face? or pimples. Help?
This is what I suggest:
Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.
Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.
Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.
Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don't scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.
An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.
Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.
Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don't pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.
If you have sensitive skin, don't use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands are full of bacteria and oils. How to clear spots of face? or pimples. Help?
If you have spots after the pimples have healed try with whole natural organic yogurt. If you have pimples and you would like to control them, try to clean them and dab some tea tree oil.
I have tried both and they work great for me. The only tip I would give is the quality of both should be great. How to clear spots of face? or pimples. Help?
Let's get one thing straight; Nobody's perfect. Everyone has zits. I KNOW you've heard it before, but its true. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for beauty tips, and self-esteem builders. It's generally for young girls, but can help anyone really.
The best step against zits is PREVENTION. Wear a foundation with lots of water, and don't prop your chin up - otherwise your asking for chin zits.
Are a you vegetarian? sometimes people get zits because they are or aren't vegetarians.
ProActive works for some people, but not for others. If I were you, I'd stick with washing my face once in the morning, once at night, and maybe using an astringent every other day. If you have pimples, dab a bit of toothpaste on honey on them, but do not use as a mask!
Your regular doctor can generally help. A skin doctor doesn't know as much about your med. history.
Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.
Try Cetaphil, and use an oil-free face lotion. Use an exfoilate twice a week also.

Does anyone know of any lotion/cream that helps clear spots or even skin tone?
I have some spots on my face, and I'm wondering if anyone knows (or knows of) a lotion or cream that would help clear them? I'm a dark skinned African American woman, and apart from these spots, seem to have very good skin. I don't have acne or eczema, and the spots are just marks leftover from picking at my face as a teenager. I'm currently using Neutrogena's 'Visibly Even' face wash and cream, which although it leaves my face feeling EXCEPTIONALLY smooth, hasn't really done much for evening out my skin tone. (Which was why I bought it)...
So does anyone have any suggestions? Again, my face is really, really smooth and soft... I'd just like my skin tone even... without the marks here and there. Preferably something that doesn't noticably lighten my skin complexion either... I'm quite dark. Thank you.Does anyone know of any lotion/cream that helps clear spots or even skin tone?
You should try Ambi cream. It works wonders with little spots on the face! I'm African American as well, and I had these little spots underneath my chin from picking at my acne. I started washing my face every night with a cleanser, and using nothing but Ambi for my face. I have to tell you that the change has been remarkable. I didn't get lighter like I feared; only the spots did. Now, there're barely noticable!Does anyone know of any lotion/cream that helps clear spots or even skin tone?
I reccommend PHILOSOPHY. visit this website they have great face products that will help your skin even out. www.philosophy.com
I use the hope in a jar and when hope its not enough, those are the best creams. You might want to use '; hope is not enough'; that is what the cream is called. Let me know if you like it or have any results. You can also buy in sephora.com or any sephora near you
Try Aveeno Postively Radient Lotion. I had the same problem and this really worked for me.
My wife has used two diiferent ones. One is Skin cleaner by _ _ _ _ _ and it is a milk skin cleaner. I left the brand name out because there is more than one. Also she uses at night a cucumber lotion that helps eliminate the spots on her face. It takes time to fade them. My wifes were from an alegric reaction to something and she has used these products to keep them almost invisible. I hope you can find these products near you. Check in companies such as AVon, Stanley, Ponds, for these products.

Ive noticed spots around side of my nose...and under my jawline....whys that?
THEY SEEM TO develop only ther, and my nose spots keep recurring...alos i have noticed that if my diets really bad then so is my skin.....people swear by 2litree water a day...any truthIve noticed spots around side of my nose...and under my jawline....whys that?
Yeah well water flushes out your system so even if it doesnt help in your case to clear up your skin, you should still be drinking the water anyway.
Could also be your time of the month perhaps?
Have you changed your face creams or washes? Sometimes if you use a face scrub too harhly it can bring out spots. Make sure you eat your RDA of fruit and veg, drink the water, use simple face creams and face washes. Try to avoid face wipes as they dont really do as good a job as an actual wash. And see if you notice a difference.

Dry red spots on my face, help!?
lately, i've noticed dry red spots all over my face. everytime i put lotion on, it makes my face burn like a *****.
okay, so about two weeks ago i started using st. ives, apricot scrub for all skin types. i heard a lot of good things about it, and i decided to give it a try. i've been using it every other day.
could that be it?
should i stop using it, and see what happens?
help!Dry red spots on my face, help!?
yep thats an allergy - your face is being irritated - that st ives stuff should only be used once a week anyway not every other day!! stop using it for a while until they clear up and then try once. if you get the spots stop using it and if you dont only use it once a week. you've been using it way too much and its damaged your skin. i used the cleanser in that line and my face did the same straight away so i stopped using it but the scrub has been fine. good luck!Dry red spots on my face, help!?
you could be having a reaction. i would stop using it
it could be the st. ives, but also could be a reaction to soap, or a fongus, or maybe even just dry skin, your best bet would be to stop using it and if the red spots dont go away see a doc...my friend had rosacia and thought it was just dry red spots and everything he used would sting and burn because it wasnt treating the issue just aggrivating it. i would try an anti fungal or anti bacteria soap rather than the st. ives, or try a hypo-allergentic product
Yes,
This has happened to me many times.
It is most likely the products that you are using.
I think you shouldn't use it every other day,
but like once a week.
And the burning on your face will take a couple days to get rid of.
But I suggest you stop using too many products,
or it will get worse, and your face skin will start to peel and get all disgusting.
Trust me,
this happened to me soo many times.
=]
Hope this helped.
well, maybe its causing a bad skin reaction, or maybe your skin is allergic to the product. You should stop using it if it continues to go on like this.
some lotions are able to go on the face and some aren't. My mom told me that st.Ive's and other lotions like that are not meant for your face.facial body

Does anybody have a tattoo in this spot?
I want to get a tattoo right behind my ear, and i want to know how bad it will hurt. i already have a tattoo on my lower back and one on my foot. they are both really big. the one on my back did not hurt but my foot hurt really bad. Is this a spot that will be painful or not?Does anybody have a tattoo in this spot?
You should go and look on BME that should give you some ideas http://www.bmeink.com/face001.html that link has some behind the ear tattoos to give you some ideas. At the moment i'm seeing alot of people with diamonds, hearts and stars behind their ears.Does anybody have a tattoo in this spot?
I've seen them there. They looked so good and were so shocking that I had to ask about it. Even complete strangers. I've also seen a couple in the ear on the cartilage. A girl had stars going around the top of her ear instead of piercings. It was really cute. They said they were painful though (for them) since those areas are really close to nerves that connect to your face and neck. How much it hurts depends on your body and you wont know until you go into it if you get it. Ask shops about pricing, if they do it, so forth and find the right size of design to make it work. Good luck, I hope you figure it all out! It sounds good!
i had a friend who had an ivy vine tattooed in her ear, she said it didnt hurt. but this was in her ear, not behind. sounds painful to me.
I was going to get a tattoo there, I got a ';test line'; done in a flesh tone, the pain wasn't all that bad, but I couldn't stand the sound, I could hear it through out my skull. Some tattoo artists won't do it there for that reason AND its so close to bone.
Try getting a ';test'; done, like I did, a good artist will be able to mix a colour close to your skin tone so if you decide its not for you, you don't have say a black line there forever.
I know people who have had this done. ( I have 7 tattoos but none behind the ear) and heard that it really hurts and that it wasn''t so bad. Its really going to depend on you and your pain threshold. Ask your artist to do a test run with a dry needle and see what its like for you, that way if its crazy painful you can bail on it and it won't be a big deal.
dont knwo if it hurts but a buddy of mine has his entire inner ear tat'd its a spider web with a spider. looks pretty good too.
The pain may depend on you and your pain threshold. However since that area is pretty much right over bone, with no fat or muscle for cushion, it will probably be rather uncomfortable.
My Daughter-in-Law has a beautiful flower behind her ear. It shows when she pulls her hair back. She said it wasn't 2 painful compared 2 some of her others.
sounds very painful to me because there isnt as much fatty flesh behind ur ear as there wuld be on ur foot or ur back
I have some stars tattooed behind my ear as a memorial. It didn't hurt too bad but it felt like my skull was shaking. :-D
yes it would hurt worst than the foot
I just had three yellow flowers done behind my ear (one goes a little lower than my ear) on Saturday. It was my first tattoo ever and it didn't hurt very much at all. Plus, the area is so small that it goes very quick, mine took under 10 minutes. I highly recommend it, I've already gotten tons of compliments on it!
I have a butterfly behind my ear. It didn't hurt very much at all and I have a low pain tolerance. Also, it looks very cute when I wear my hair up (and it's easy to hide if I keep my hair medium length). Most people will say it's a painful spot, but it hurt the least of all my tattoos (I have 3).
thats stupid no one will see the darn thing

How can i get rid of acne/spot scars?
i need a quick and easy method to get rid of a lot of scars on my head as i always pop spots when i get them and now i have scarring pleaseee help. How can i get rid of acne/spot scars?
for natural home remedy, try raw/organic honey.
or try clearpores :)
http://foreverbeautifulskins.blogspot.co鈥?/a>How can i get rid of acne/spot scars?
get a lemon slice and squeeze the juice (save it in a glass and put in the fridge) and apply it for 10-15 min and wash it wit cold water and apply the lemon juice at night as a toner and wash it in the morning your problem will be gone in 4-5 days
use neosporin and wait it out. you can't get rid of scarring right away. just wash your face regularly and you should not know to never pop pimples.
-if your going to try to, dampen a clean towel with very hot water and press it against the pimple with a lot of pressure. if it does not work then don't try it until later it isn't ready and you could create more scarring.

How can i get rid ot my ache dark spots?please answer.?
Use Ambi fading cream or Clear Essence fading cream.
Ambi is a popular thing in the Caribbean (where I'm from) and I use it a lot. I dont quite know all the technicalities of how it works but I really does work to even out my complexion. Depending on how severe your dark spots are, you might want to see a dermatologist.

solution: dermaline skin whitening cream.

Why iam getting pimples and that becomes as dark spots ?
pimplesWhy iam getting pimples and that becomes as dark spots ?
pimples could be outta allergy to certain foodstuffs..some mayb allergic to fried items n some eggs, chocolates, potatoes etc..or in some it could be just the hormonal imbalance..thats more likely to occur in the teens and is seen ceasing in most of them after that..
i suggest to go for some home remedies rather than relayin on the drug store products which may not give the desired results or even make the situaion worse......wot u should do is make your skin healthy..dats the best way to avoid pimples..this could be done by maintainin a healthy diet as well as takin good care of your skin....u can choose from these n do concentrate on your T zones when you apply them ---
1) take 2-3 teaspoons of rice powder and mix it in orange juice (sufficient amt so dat u get a smooth paste).apply it all over your face and neck n let it dry.wash it off with orange juice itself.it makes your skin glow, acts against pimples, removes black n white heads if any as rice powder s a good scrub..[i found this one too good...does miracles in days!!]
2)apply honey on your face and neck and wash it off after 20 min.
3)apply sugar syrup (sugar in water) if your skin is oily or else go for sugar in milk and wash it off after 20 min
4) rose water n oatmeal is very effective in removin blackheads n preventin future breakouts and closin the pores.apply oatmeal powder with rose water mixed into a paste n wash it off after 20-30 min using cold water.the cold water closes the newly cleaned pores, protecting against blackheads or breakouts in future
5)rubbin your skin with tomato juice n washing it off after 20 min s very good..keeps skin smooth and healthy
6)rubbing ice cubes for 5 min after washing face with cold water or luke warm water before any make up or outing helps maintaing the oil in control givin no way to breakouts(oily skin)
7)you can apply small banana-yellow coloured as a nice face pack
8)lemon(juice) and tomato(juice) mixture can be applied..ie,2-3 coats and wash it off after bout 30 min
9)applyin milk n sugar mixture and leaving it for 20-30 min is also good if your skinis oily or milk alone if your skin is normal or of dry type..
10)boil 2 pinches of saffron in milk n add turmeric if you r not allergic to turmeric or jus saffron and apply it n wash it off after 30 min
11)apply sandal wood powder in water and wash it off on drying..you feel fresh and cool
12)carrots,cucumbers,papayas--... them into paste by either squeezing them or by addin milk can be used as face packs
13)applyin red sandal wood powder mixed in either honey or milk or is a good facial.
14)tomato juice n honey mixed can be used as a good facial
15) soak fresh bread crumbs dat has just been baked in milk for bout 10min n use them to rub on your skin to get a brighter complexion n also make your skin glow
16) soak chappatti in milk or water overnight n apply it on face to get a brighter complexion..
17) rubbing your cheeks with beetroot can give them a natural
blush..the enzymes in beetroot seeps into the skin and cleans it..
18) placing tea bags on blemishes reduces its redness and continuous application s really effective..
19) take 1 cup fresh pineapple,Half-a-cup fresh papaya,1 tablespoon honey.Puree fruit together. Add honey and mix into a smooth paste.
Pineapple and papaya contain natural enzymes and alpha-hydroxy acids that remove dead skin cells. Leave mask on 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse completely.
20) if yo skin is very oily,go for egg white mask.
take 2 large eggs,2 drops of leamon juice(optional)
seperte the dgg whites n add 2 drops lemon juice into it.whip the
egg white until frothy.after thoroughly cleansin yo face, gently apply
whipped egg to face.leave on until mask dries.rinse with warm water.
this will tighten your skin n soaks excess oil from your skin
21) i ld suggest d use of st.ives apricot face scrub that siuts your skin for your face..Apricot kernels are rich in vitamin A, which is vital for healthy skin. Additionally it is perfect for rough spots, elbows, backs, heels and thicker skins. Note: Nutshells and fruit kernels can have jagged edges so they are not ideal for sensitive skin.don wash it wid soap or face scrubs more than twice a day as dis would again lead to excess oil production.also dun wash your face usin bath soaps or handwashes as they leave your skin too dry..dun rub yo face hard usin towel, instead use tissues..
22) apply calamine at night n wash it off in d morning
23) appying paste of mint leaves in water on your acne is good too
24) if yo usin any gel for pimple tratment, use d one which contains clindamycin %26amp; nicotinamide
ALL THESE HELP IMPROVE YOUR COMPLEXION,REMOVE SCARS AND MAKE YOUR SKIN GLOW!!
whatever u do, mak sure u don expose yo skin to direct sun..also make it a point u drink at least 2 glasses f water on wakin up daily n atleast 8 glasses f water daily...keep yourselves free from all tensions n also maintain a balanced and nutritious diet, which includes lots of green veggies..try becomin a vegetarian..but u may ve fish..n see your skin glow..also if u find any food stuff or a facial or an ingredient in a facial allergic on your skin, stop usin it then and there..
hope i helped u...
god blessWhy iam getting pimples and that becomes as dark spots ?
Hmm... the best thing i will tell u that first ask your self why r u getting the dark spots ?? i will tell u it looks like after ur pimple get dry you either try to poke them or try to remove the dry patch this would a possible reason these dry spots are called as zits i will advice u to wash your face atleast thrice and use honey and lemon face pack as this is an excellent face pack to remove dark spots so dont testwith ur skin and try to consult a demertoligist
never squeeze pimples.clean your face regularly.use anti pimple face wash.avoid using creams.the pimples may appear gone but the work of the creams is to push the pimples underneath the skin.drink lots of water and vegetables.avoid eating oily food.maintain this for one month.
This is definately hyperpigmentation. Try to avoid squeezing the pimples as this will cause hyperpigmentation and may then even lead to scarring. If you have to, steam your face first then squeeze gently.
Hmmm, there is a possibility that they are darkening from sun exposer, especially if you have sensitive skin. Mine tend to do that.
it's called hyperpigmentation. use sunscreen daily, and at night, use whitening creams. =)
avoid the anti pimple cream available in market and visit skin speacialist
use multani matti or olive oil in the night.....

ALL THESE HELP IMPROVE YOUR COMPLEXION,REMOVE SCARS AND MAKE YOUR SKIN GLOW!!
whatever u do, mak sure u don expose yo skin to direct sun..also make it a point u drink at least 2 glasses f water on wakin up daily n atleast 8 glasses f water daily...keep yourselves free from all tensions n also maintain a balanced and nutritious diet, which includes lots of green veggies..try becomin a vegetarian..but u may ve fish..n see your skin glow..also if u find any food stuff or a facial or an ingredient in a facial allergic on your skin, stop usin it then and there..

god blessWhy iam getting pimples and that becomes as dark spots ?
Hmm... the best thing i will tell u that first ask your self why r u getting the dark spots ?? i will tell u it looks like after ur pimple get dry you either try to poke them or try to remove the dry patch this would a possible reason these dry spots are called as zits i will advice u to wash your face atleast thrice and use honey and lemon face pack as this is an excellent face pack to remove dark spots so dont testwith ur skin and try to consult a demertoligist
never squeeze pimples.clean your face regularly.use anti pimple face wash.avoid using creams.the pimples may appear gone but the work of the creams is to push the pimples underneath the skin.drink lots of water and vegetables.avoid eating oily food.maintain this for one month.
How come when I have a brown spot on my face it's a mole but on Cindy Crawford it's a beauty mark?
Double standard, anyone? Pass me the Haterade. I'm feelin' thirsty. How come when I have a brown spot on my face it's a mole but on Cindy Crawford it's a beauty mark?
Haiku:
That's a beauty mark
Cindy sports. Poor Bill, he just
has a big, ol' mole.

She had lots of spark
With her beauty mark
Don't tell her that it's just a mole.

Eh, I think you're right. Yours should be called a manly mark, a handsome mark, a stud mark, a virility mark, you know, something like that. Hehehehe!!!How come when I have a brown spot on my face it's a mole but on Cindy Crawford it's a beauty mark?
Hehehehehe! Thanks! :) Report Abuse
awww no don't feel bad even if everyone says so, YOU HAVE A BEAUTY MARK!!! =]
Because she has been set to the ';standard of beauty'; as defined by society whereas ';we'; (you and I) known as the common people; are given the label to use of ';mole';.
I DO NOT set my esteem or self worth meter based on the standards used by society. Cindy Crawford is beautiful to look at but so is a sunset.
I try to remember something called ';airbrushing';. The majority of those photos are enhanced for marketing purposes.
Good luck.
because your ugly and she's not that makes the difference
Call yours a beauty mark if you want to as well.
I can't imagine anyone wanted to kiss her knowing their lips are going to touch that potentially cancerous mole, but to each his own I guess.
I think that's stupid too. Actually I think it's weird that they were ever considered ';beauty marks'; but hey, what the hell. I'm sure yours looks beautiful!
same here.....cindy doesnt believe in moles becasue it doesnt sound pretty so she justs calls them beaty makes......dont worry you can think of them as beauty marks too........and cindy does have moles not beauty marks! lol
On women they're called beauty marks; on men they're called handsome marks (ha, ha). They're probably only called beauty marks on women who are beautiful. For the rest of us mere, female, mortals they're also called moles.
You are beautiful, Bill, no matter what they say.
Because some people are just meant to have moles and not Beauty marks.
cindy has a big old fat mole,,beauty mark my a$$.lol

How often can i use henna in my hair? I used it today and missed some spots in the back.?
Not the often Henna can make your hair frizzzy and friz ain't sexi!
So about once a month or less...How often can i use henna in my hair? I used it today and missed some spots in the back.?
Just go back and do the spots that you missed. Just in case you do not know this, you SHOULD NOT put any other chemicals on top of henna ,including regular hair dye, bleach.

I am a female, i have hair my face so i startd usin cream, now i have bumps n black spots wut do have to do no
Latha, that's a new one on me, sounds good. Now for you suga babe, I suffer from the same problem.
First, understand if you are a woman of color, our skin is very sensitive and our hair folicles coarse and curly, which causes the hair to be trapped under the skin, and when you attempt to rid yourself of the hair you damage your skin, and that leaves the spots and scarring. Also note that facial hair is and can be hereditary, hormonal, or caused by the use of hormone treatments, such as birth control, fertility, menopause, and hormone therapy for a hystorectomy.
I have had to do the following to just help combat the issue, as nothing short of any one thing helps.
I use an African black soap as a natural scrub/antiseptic
I use black cream with cocoa butter and vitamin e for spots
I use Black Opal skin care as target problems arise
And I have eliminated meat products because of all the things they do to the animals that are passed on to the consumer such as the hormones, antibiotics, and such.
I eat only soy, or if meat range fed and organic/natural
I've used a prescription and non prescription products to slow the hair growth and make the hair a finer texture, which make it a little easier to manage, however, and whatever you choose to do, tweezing, threading, laser, cream shaves, etc.
Be patient and do a ritual of face care daily, see a dermatologist if you can and find a good estetician who helps in face care. Be careful in removing the hair, no matter what you do, our skin needs gentle care. Good Luck.I am a female, i have hair my face so i startd usin cream, now i have bumps n black spots wut do have to do no
You need to exfoliate, this is the most important thing to prevent ingrown hairs or other problems when removing hair. Never use a loofah on your face, as it can cause microscopic tears, rather use a wash cloth, or preferably an over the counter exfoliant cream. Good luck.I am a female, i have hair my face so i startd usin cream, now i have bumps n black spots wut do have to do no
use turmeric powder that stops the growth of ur hair on the face as well as ur bumps and blocks in ur face
use a mild skin lightening soap (black licorice soap) and/or dermaline skin whitening cream to lighten dark skin pigmentations, and a high spf sunscreen to prevent further darkening of spots.. the sun is a major contributor of hyperpigmentation.facial body

I have been tanning in a tanning bed. i have noticed that there are some darker spots. what causes this?
certain parts of the bodies tan more easily than others. for example your stomach will take longer to tan than your face. it's nothing to worry about so don't worry.I have been tanning in a tanning bed. i have noticed that there are some darker spots. what causes this?
Tanning beds are rather bad for your skin, and can cause skin problems, even cancer, further down the road. Check with your doctor.
All the best!
- LaurenI have been tanning in a tanning bed. i have noticed that there are some darker spots. what causes this?
its not good to tan cuz then u look ten years older then u really are, you can also damage ur skin. You also get many rinkles and sagz on ur skin
maybe its skin cause from the tanning bed.you should stop tanning for a while.cause tanning beds can give u skin cancer also
Tanning beds are not that good for your skin and you should be careful. The dark spots could also be besides a ';cancer'; sign a reaction if you are taking antibiotics and tanning. It happened to me this summer, but it is always a good idea to consult a dermatologist to be sure you are save. Good luck!
Well if your using a bed it will hit some parts of your body more like your butt, stomach...- Your better off using the stand up booth, its tans evenly all around..
Tanning is really not good for you. It's probably starting to visibly affect your skin. Not a good sign. The more you tan, the higher chance of getting skin cancer.
These could be sun spots, and they could be a sign of skin cancer, you need to get it checked out at your doctors. this is why you NEVER EVER use sunbeds, not only do they make u more wrinkly, but they hugely increase ur chances of cancer.

I have lost some of and have bald spots and am young?
can anyone help me how can i get my hair to grow back please helpI have lost some of and have bald spots and am young?
there could be a lot of reasons why your hair is falling out. you should talk to a dermatologist but you should also try researching it yourself so you don't end up just doing or buying whatever the doctor throws at you.I have lost some of and have bald spots and am young?
If your bald spots are completely hairless and the size of dime, then it must be Alopecia Areata. My bro found a website called www.alopecia-areata-cure.com when he had a similar problem.
Checkout the images in the website. Its informative and suggests some treatments too. Wish you a quick recovery.
You might have alopecia, it causes hair to fall out, go see a dermatologist.

Can Jeans give you a rash around your whole waist or just one spot?
I have a rash on one part of my stomach and I'm scared I might have meningitis...which I'm now really, really scared. I just got new jeans and I wear a belt with my jeans so could that be a cause. Ok plz help. Can Jeans give you a rash around your whole waist or just one spot?
Yes, you can get a rash around your whole stomach. But for some people, like me, I actually got a rash on the sides of my jeans because they were too tight, (the size was too small.) If it really concerns you then go see your doctor. He or she will totally help you. If it's a skin problem, you can always use www.yellowpages.com to find a dermatologist in your area. Don't panic. It's probably not mengitis, but if it is, your doctor will help. Your jeans could be too tight, or not a very good quality too.Can Jeans give you a rash around your whole waist or just one spot?
I have a pair of jeans that give me sort of a rash on my waist. I have a very small waist and they are too big in the waist. They move when I walk and rub the wrong way.
It's probably just your jeans.
It is a possibility that jeans can give you rash, but it can be determined on the fabric, or maybe the detergent too. It might just be an allergic reaction.
if you are ever worried about your body/health see a doctor! it could be the dye used in jeans it could be a heat rash from rubbing against your stomach.
well if the rash is wear the belt is it might be but i would wash them and see if it dosent go away i would go to the dr

Will laser hair removal, ingrown hairs and brown spots?
ok on my lower legs i have really bad ingrown hairs. my hair is dark and coarse. when im patient and let the hair grow out there is an improvement but after removing the hair the problem starts again. just wondering if i grow the hair out and have laser will this stop ingrowns and will it help with existing ingrowns and brown spots? PLEASE HELP AS I DONT WANT 2 WASTE MY MONEY! :-(Will laser hair removal, ingrown hairs and brown spots?
You must definitely do it. You will never be sorry and won't waste your money. All of the problems you mentioned will be addressed and eliminated.
I had the hair on my legs removed by laser several years ago. It is absolutely fantastic. No shaving, waxing or anything else. Just endless smooth flesh.
You didn't mention what type of hair removal method you use. Nor did you mention how dark or light you skin tone is. The BEST results are achieved where the hair is dark and the skin light.
The bigger the color difference between hair and skin the better the laser results. So stay out of the sun/sunbed for 6-8 weeks to let your skin bleach out completely. Then go for your laser treatment.
Type your skin by answering a few questions on http://www.hairremoval4guys.com/fitzpatrick-classification.html and read up on laser at http://www.hairremoval4guys.com/laser.html.
I hope I was able to convince you to go for laser hair removal!facial body

Red Spots When I Shave My Bikini Line?!?
Whenever I Shave Down There I Get Red Lumpy Spots- Why? How Do I Get Rid Of Them?Red Spots When I Shave My Bikini Line?!?
They are usually ingrowing hairs, try waxing instead, it's much smoother, last longer and isn't as embarassing or painful as people suggest.
I don't know about age limit, but that is a good point for obvious reasons.
I was aprehensive the first time, all she did was move my knickers to one side, do the business (over in about 20 seconds) then move to the other side and ask me to hold that edge of the knickers over slightly so she could do the same there.Red Spots When I Shave My Bikini Line?!?
don't shave against the hair growth, go with it
and remember to use a new razor and to go slowly and remember to use some shaving cream or gel also
if they become infected and you get ingrown hairs, maybe you should give the area a break or try something else
They're ingrowing hairs.
Best thing to do is after you've shaved, leave it for about 24 hours and GENTLY exfoliate.
[And when I say gently, I mean gently! D: You don't want to cause any irritation or bleeding. Do not scrub. Do not cause pain on yourself!! Haha.. x]]
Exfoliating removes all the dead skin cells and stops hairs getting trapped in the follicle.
There is no way of getting rid of them once you've got them.
If you sterilise some tweezers you may be able to tweeze the hairs out if you're skillful. ;] Lol.
Otherwise just leave it for a couple weeks %26amp;%26amp; it'll all disappear. [Well, it does for me.]
Btw - I can assure you beauty therapists don't mind waxing bikini lines/brazillian waxes.. It's what we're paid to do! [x
You will not be judged on how you look ';down there';, because your therapist will have seen it all before. :)
I've never been waxed in that area, and I'd preferrably not want to be either - but most people say it's a lot more comfortable, so if you're willing to try it then go for it. :)
If you don't like it, you wont have to go back there anyway.
Good luck. :)
it is a rash.
do you use shaving foam when you shave?
if not then try that, you can buy shaving foam for women (i use it!) and also moisturise after you have shaved.
Hope this helps! x
It's actually a rash caused by bacteria (generally harmless) in hair follicles infecting other hair follicles. Try laser hair removal
Use shaving foam, i`l` put it on for you if you like
It's most likely ingrown hairs, u can get serums to get rid of it. But like the others said, the best way to avoid the problem would be wax and exfoliate. Though, seeing as you've shaved, it might hurt a bit more.. :S
Ingrown hair follicles. Very painful and can be dangerous. Don't shave there any more. See your doctor if it gets worse. Waxing is really the only way to get rid if bikini line hair effectively and no, there's no age limit ! Why would there be ?

don't shave oww. get waxed or use removal cream.
Try applying Sudocrem after shaving, works for me...
There are special toners you can get to put on it. I have one, but can't remember the name of it offhand. It's like facial toner, has that alcohol smell. Check with your local drugstore, or if they dont' have it, check at a beauty supply store or salon.
It works best if you put it on right after you shave, but if you apply it at least daily over the next few days, it should decrease the bumps quite a bit.
Good luck. :)
