Tattoo scabbing and grey spots on the bed?!

i have a tattoo on my outer thigh and the tattoo's about 18cm long and 8cm wide and i was wondering when the scabbing will come off? i put cream on it (the one the tattoo shop gave me) 3 times a day like they said and i just cant stand the scabs..cause i hav a habit to peel them but so far i havent peeled a single scab and THANK GOD! lol btw when i woke up, i found spots of grey-ish ink on the bed from my tattoo but is this normal? i looked at my tattoo but there arent any blank spots but is it something i should be concerned about?Tattoo scabbing and grey spots on the bed?!
I would switch to a good lotion and just keep the area mosturized. a lot of creams they give you, your only to use for about the first 36 hours, cause they're just to get the irratation in the skin to go down.





go get some good lotion (I highly recommend curel) and start putting that on and see if it helps at all. the scabbing can be fairly normal, especially if the artist was heavy handed, and you have to keep in mind that your more than likely keepin your tattoo covered more often than not so it's not getting much of a chance to breathe. the spots on the bed are more than likely just dead skin/scabs flaking off. I wouldn't worry too much. Tattoo scabbing and grey spots on the bed?!

did you happen to lay on your new tattoo any during the night? i'm not sure if the ink thing is normal because i never laid on my tattoo after i got it until it was completely healed, so maybe you'll just want to avoid laying on it until it's done scabbing.
