Does putting toothpaste on your spots help them to go away??

Well for some people yes and some no. It can help them by drying them out, but it can burn real bad! I would'nt suggest it. If you've used plenty of face scrubs and none of them seem to be working then i suggest you going to the doctor so he can recomend something for you!Does putting toothpaste on your spots help them to go away??
Oddly yes. It helps dry them out!Does putting toothpaste on your spots help them to go away??
only if you shut GATE COLL
it doesnt make them go away - but it makes them go away faster - as it dries the hell out of them :P
well, if it has a massive head it is bound to have teeth!
It's supposed to dry them out if you do it overnight. But it never worked for me
Yes it drys them out but preferably i wouldnt rely too much on it! If you have spots then most probably you've got oily/combination skin use (oil free) products to cleanse tone and moisturize ur skin
i tied this and i burnt the skin around the spot and left it weepy and infected looking i would not recommend it i would however recommend Tea Tree pure essential oil around 4-5 in some warm water and splash your face with it twice daily it will dry out the spot and not the rest of your skin and costs very little and lasts ages. good luck hope this helps x
best thing for spots is sunbeds, although they are not very safe, tehre is a face light that works same as sunbed which will work just as good, just use sunscreen for extra protection but it drys spots out. toothpaste doe dry them out a little, so does aftershave but it stings like hell
yh i have heard of this.......i think its used as an antiseptic...i have tried this it kind of like stings...and makes that part of your face feel fresh
MYTH!!!!

Do not do it you can burn your skin if you leave it overnight!

Use tea tree oil =)
Yep, works better than any of the expensive spot creams on the market, and even better you'll always have some in the house (well I hope you would anyway!)
It only worked when i used Crest minty leaf thingy, not cinnamon rush though...
a bit, but dont do that it has a bad effect on your skin, better use zinc cream, it will dry it out with the same effect leaving your skin in a better condition
no, the toothpaste just makes the spots dried...so they goes away quickly...but it doesn't make them vanished.
Toothpaste dries the spot out so that they clear up quicker.

If your going to do this I advise not answering the front door.
Not really the reason for this myth is that it contains benzyl peroxide (often found in spot creams) but all this does is dry the skin out and it stings!Toothpaste is for teeth and skincare for skin-the best advice is a good cleanser and anti inflammatory.

Try SK-II Skin Refining Treatment-works miracles!!
hahah i heard of this too.. its not true.. a lot of people say it works and stuff but its really not good! Dont do it! I read somewhere that it only makes it worse.. and a lot of people say that... If you want ur spot to go away use something meant for spots! toothpaste is meant for teeth :p if it DID work, there wouldnt be 34987294 beauty products in the market because everyone would choose toothpaste as its cheep and effective.. but thats not the case.. Dont do it!! =) xo
it dries them out, but its not the best thing for your skin...i use arbonne international....it cleared up my skin in like 2 days....
No i don't think it works ,a friend of mine used it and she had an allergic reaction her skin was so inflamed she wouldn't go into work .Try boo boo zap by benefit instead it really works!
I believe it does. A thick dot, so you can no longer see the spot, does make it get smaller and dry it out. It doesn't get rid of it though, So don't expect miracles. 30 minutes or so should do the trick.
