All tattoo's are painful lol but from personal experience the wrist,hip,back of the neck,and lower back in the middle(nothing to big though) isn't as painful as other places the worse is the foot so i don't suggest that but if your really bad with pain then i do think you should really think about it and make sure its something you really want.Good luck.
stay away from boney and ticklish spots. the outside of the arm is the easiest place ever. when you start to wrap around the inside it will hurt more. if you can't stand pain that much... then don't bother getting a tattoo. I honestly think that there is few places where i have gotten tattoos and couldn't stand it but everyone is different. if you want it enough then you won't care about the pain. oh! the calf isn't bad either... as long as you stay away from the tendon and the back of the knee.

Honestly you will get a TON of answers where people tell you that you shouldnt get a tattoo somewhere based on the pain level, trust this answer IT IS THE TRUTH!





Now i will say i have a tattoo on my stomach and it didnt hurt so bad, the one on my foot was the worst pain of my life, but again both are worth it... i heard the wrists hurt really bad, so do the ribs and lower back... so almost everywhere is going to be painful to some degree
The best and most least painful spots to get a tattoo is the arm and shoulders. Anywhere bony and fleshy hurts more and anywhere muscle hurts less. I'm a wuss when it comes to pain and I have two tattoos. One on my arm and the other on my lower back and I could handel both of them. The arm It didn't hurt much but my lower back hurt a little more than my arm. It really isn't that bad.
